Friday being Friday... no one felt like working, and we started shooting each other with one of my colleagues' NERF gun.

It was MAD FUN, and the girls decided to rush down to Vivocity over lunch to get our own personal NERF gun!

Our bosses won't be around over next week, so... IT'S TIME FOR WAR. *cackles madly*

Due to several failed attempts to obtain a spanking new BTO flat, we finally decided to go for a resale flat instead. I mean, we can't continue trying to bid for flats until we're 40 right? We had a bad queue no. for the Bukit Batok BTO and decided that it wasn't worth it to get a unit that we didn't like. It's like... we are going to slog away for the rest of our lives to pay it off anyway, so it makes more sense to at least like our house, doesn't it?

I can only start house-shopping after my wedding in December, so I've been surfing about IDs. So far I like weiken.com, A Home Story, Summit Design Studio, Sky Creation, and AX Image Design Concepts. :) I don't have a particular theme in mind yet, but we'll see. There's still a pretty long way to go, but I'm pretty much excited. Hee.

Sometimes I wished I could just ditch wedding preps to start house-planning... but... oh well. :(

Change is always refreshing for me, someone who probably has ADHD tendencies. The new job brought a new sort of rigour into my everyday life, and unlike in the past, I no longer drag my feet to work. In fact, I even reach office early to settle in with a cuppa coffee, something that I don't usually do. Typically, I would start procrastinating, leave home late, reach office late, start nua-ing in the toilet and then stone for the rest of the day. This could happen again if and when I dread work things. But never again will this happen, because for this job I am willing to become a better person. Not trying to climb the corporate ladder or anything, but it's simply not easy to find a job that will support my new married lifestyle and one that fits my interests at the same time. Most people are probably not so lucky.

The trip to office isn't a bed of roses though. I hate taking the MRT during rush hour (ugh) but at least for now I don't have a choice. Soon, I'll be moving to Bukit Batok/Jurong and be able to take a straight bus. Buses over trains, anytime! Meanwhile, I'll have to suck it.

It has been a short week... it's actually Friday tomorrow, but there's so much things to be done. Busy, but fulfilling and happy. I like.

It has been a long time since our last movie date. The husband refused to watch 3D IMAX as he was worried that it'll give him headaches. Oh wells. The digital version is cheaper anyway.

"And there came a day... a day unlike any other... when Earth's mightiest heroes found themselves united against a common threat... to fight the foes no single superhero could withstand... on that day, The Avengers were born."

WOOTS. We have been super excited about this movie for a while!

We wanted to watch The Hunger Games and Battleship as well, but we never managed to. We have been pretty busy with work stuffs, and wedding preparations... Time to cut loose! Also hoping to watch The Flowers of War, The Lucky One, and The Vow.

We were officially married on the 24th of March, 2012. :)

Our solemnization event was held at TAB, Orchard Hotel, and it was fabulous.

I sincerely thank all my friends, especially Angela and Joey, who helped me pull through my preparations. It had been truly tough, as my then-fiance had to fly around for work and I had to cope with many things alone. The event could have been better, as there were quite a few screw-ups throughout, but overall it was okay and I was happy. We were happy. :) All the people who mattered in our lives were in attendance and we're glad that they could witness this very significant event in our lives. This sounds pretty cliche, but it's really the company that matters most. :)

More photos! I didn't include photos of family members for their privacy, just in case they mind.
