So much to do, but so little time...
Went for my make-up trial at La Belle Couture today... for some reason, my coordinator seemed quite 'high'! :P

Okay, my expression was damn act cute during the session... the MUA kept making me giggle and laugh! I had fun, and felt so comfortable with her. :D

I don't worry that much about make-up because (1) my MUA Vivi has good reviews (2) I actually don't look very different without make-up... to most MUAs I should be some sort of an idiot-proof palette. But Vivi still managed to wow me... I loved it! I felt like some Korean chiobu.

Probably will look a little more dramatic when Vivi puts on falsies for me on my actual wedding. I never really liked my lower lashes because they trap dust easily and it's damn annoying. Finally see them put to great use! I actually liked my lower lashes after make-up. :D

After the trial, we went to Tonkotsu King for ramen. It is like THE best ramen in my list!

Located at #01-19 of Orchid Hotel at Tras Link, it is a stone's throw away from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station and it's always crowded on weekday evenings. Thankfully, we reached there at an awkward timing and there weren't that many people.

They have free-flow tau gey and hard boiled eggs! The tau gey was quite yummy, especially considering that I'm not a tau gey person. I opt out tau gey for my mee rebus, vhar kway teow and laksa, and I cringe at the sight of a tau gey dish... but the tau gey at Tonkotsu King was good.

For the ramen, you can either choose the standard Tonkotsu Ramen, the Red Spicy version or the Black Spicy version, and you'll have options for nori/seaweed topping, the egg (runny yolk!), or all of the above. Both the husband and I ordered the Red Spicy version, and "all of the above" for toppings. :P

The broth was thick and flavourful but not overpowering... the chunks of chashu were HUGE (can't really see from pic, they're under the noodles)... and the ramen was soft and chewy... Mmm. *slurp* I'll be heading there again soon!
Post-birthday celebration for Miss Tan at Jumbo Seafood!

We kept sending pictures to Miss E who is still working in China, lol!!! Live feed!

The staff recommended Canadian crabs for us instead of the usual Sri Lankan and we decided to give it a try though it's much more expensive. HENG! It was GOOD and worth every dong kiapenny!!! I would so order that again... the meat was smooth and sweet, with a more Q texture as compared to the usual crab. Yummeh.

After that, we went to watch the Resident Evil movie at Kallang Leisure Park.

The reviews turned out pretty bad, but I guess it was alright. The action scenes were okay, and it provided ample fan service for people like the husband who has always been a Resident Evil gamer. :)
We finally bought a house! :) Was smiling in my sleep after we confirmed it, lol.

It's 111sqm, not very big for a resale 5-room flat, but I guess it's enough. It means I have less 1sqm to clean whenever I get home, anyways. *thumbs up* I love the MBR! It's almost as big as my living room (which is actually quite small... for a living room). The main door is located in between the kitchen and shelter area, and there's this giant space next to it where I can have a ginormous shoe cabinet!

The location is fabulous, being a stone's throw away from the MRT station and there're quite abit of amenities around. There's also an abundance of primary schools in the area (like within 1km), so I don't have to gangsta-fight my way into a school for my future kid.

We're signing the OTP this coming Monday, and off we go searching for contractors/renovators/interior designers. :)

Confirmed the text and layout of my cards the night before at T Dragon! :)

I opted out of inserts and decided to print onto the cards themselves instead. This is such genius technology, because I don't have to tie strings for over 200 inserts! *pops champagne* I'm the laziest bride in the world... :x Anyway I think the shiny gold hot-stamping is pretty chio, and 'ching-cheong' enough for relatives. They don't have a sample of shiny gold text on my pink card, but they showed me another card's design with the shiny gold hot-stamping and it's gorgeous! They're sending me the draft layout some time tomorrow before I confirm them for print.

Counting down, three months (and one day) left to the wedding! >_<
The Back-to-School look never gets old. I guess I'm a hippie kind of girl... the pebbled leather is calling out to me!

I haven't bought a nice bag in a long time because I've been saving up for the wedding... Would probably wait till my 13th month bonus comes in. Feels so broke. -_-
