[Sponsored/OMY] Movie Night at Golden Village City Square Mall - Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2

Oh kay I was supposed to finish writing this by 27 Nov but... oh well.

I joined the OMY Blog Club recently because of its amazing perks and opportunities to win free stuff... #sosingaporean and I actually did! The email arrived on a Monday when I felt sucky (as usual, having blues and all that) and I decided to give it a shot and RSVPed for the movie screening. Only 50 pairs of tickets were available so I was really lucky to win a pair of tickets to watch Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2!

I tried just about over 10 times to finish watching the first movie just because everyone loved it and I'm the groupie sort... but I got bored because romance was never really my thing. But I pressed on and the following movies weren't half bad. I mean, there's Jacob's HOT BOD TO LOOK AT!!!

After I broke the news to the husband excitedly, he gave me a deadpan response. Firstly, he's never really into Twilight either. Secondly, the cinema is in the vicinity of his workplace and he was like "Why should I come here even on the weekends?! *groan*".

谁知道... XD

The Golden Village cinema at City Square Mall is its newest with six auditoriums - one of which is the "couple's cinema" where you can cosy up with your partner while enjoying the movie!

So chiozzzzz!

Look at those plushy cushy seats! OH YEA.

The normal seats are actually nice and plushy too!

Cushy plushy!

All six cinemas at the spanking new City Square Mall Golden Village Multiplex have stadium seating, wall-to-wall digital screens with crystal-clear 2K digital projection, 7.1 Dolby digital sound and premium-grade EAW® speakers from the United States. Sibei high tech can!

We were kind of almost late for the movie so I didn't get the opportunity to get any self-taken photos, hurhur. We were seated somewhere in the lower-middle part of the auditorium but the screen's size was just nice! We didn't have to strain our necks or anything. The leg room was ample and the seats were super comfortable. The husband even mentioned that he'll meet me after work to watch movies here instead - I could tell he really enjoyed the seats... he's a sucker for these things.

Okay, onto the movie.

Family.

I can't help but gush over how adorable Renesmee is! She has the most beautiful eyes.

The last movie for the series was quite exciting, but at the end... those who watched would know what I'm talking about. Overall I believe we enjoyed the movie but were unsure of the ending. I've never read the books so I can't make comparisons (like how I critique Harry Potter movies to the death). But as an avid reader/movie fan in general, I would've liked to have seen how the Cullens associate with other covens and a more intense rivalry with the Volturi. The story is too simple, and places too much focus on how Bella die die also want to become vampire and her love story with Edward.

Till then.

Thanks thanks thanks Golden Village and OMY for the movie! :) If not for these tickets, I might not have found out how awesome this new cinema is!
